  "content": "<p>Dear RSNA Intracranial Aneurysm Detection organizers and Kaggle community,                 </p>\n<p>Thank you for making this important dataset available through the RSNA Intracranial Aneurysm Detection challenge.                                                                                 </p>\n<p>I am part of a hospital-affiliated academic research team. We are preparing a non-commercial research resource based on the MRA subset of this challenge dataset. Our goal is to release additional derived vessel segmentation annotations, metadata, split files, and baseline/evaluation code for academic use.                                                                                                 </p>\n<p>Before finalizing our release plan, I wanted to ask whether the competition organizers, dataset maintainers, or participants with experience using/releasing derived resources from this dataset could help clarify two practical points.</p>\n<h2>Image redistribution under upstream terms</h2>\n<p>If we strictly follow the RSNA-ICA upstream terms, including non-commercial research/education use only, are we allowed to redistribute the corresponding MRA images together with our additional derived vessel segmentation annotations?</p>\n<p>We will strictly follow the stated restriction: “Not to make any attempt to identify or contact any individual(s) who may be the subjects of the data.”(AWS page)</p>\n<h2>Citation and DOI</h2>\n<p>The AWS Registry page for RSNA-ICA states that any sharing or redistribution should include the RSNA-ICA Dataset, July 2025 citation and DOI:<a href=\"https://registry.opendata.aws/rsna-intracranial-aneurysm-detection-dataset/\" target=\"_blank\">https://registry.opendata.aws/rsna-intracranial-aneurysm-detection-dataset/</a></p>\n<p>However, when I follow the DOI link from the AWS page, it appears to lead to a DOI Not Found page, whether or not the trailing bracket is included. Should we still cite the DOI exactly as written on the AWS Registry page, or is there an updated DOI/citation text that should be used? or should we cite this kaggle version? </p>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p>Our intended release is strictly non-commercial and academic.
