"content": "
I am trying to download a few of the train images, but when I download them they are of different size than what is listed on the kaggle data explorer. For example, when I download the fourth file named
'001c62abd11fa4b57bf7a6c603a11bb9.tiff'
listed as
47.78 MB
in size on the kaggle data explorer, I get a file with the same name but with a size of
~25 MB
!
\n\n
Is anyone else facing this issue ? I'd request someone from the kaggle team or the hosts to clarify this please as I need to download individual files in full sizes. Thanks!
",

      "content": "
Ok, got it. The files are actually not
.tiff
, they are compressed
.zip
files but listed as
.tiff
in the data explorer so got confused. Here's a suggestion to kaggle, please list them as
.zip
if they are
.zip
files and show both the compressed and uncompressed sizes perhaps, or, only show the uncompressed sizes with the word 'uncompressed' beside the sizes.
",
