\nI got a mail from @starfalllover on June 18th to team with me in this competition.

\nHe said that he was interning at Google China and he also had a decent score on the leaderboard. So I decided to team up with him. After teaming up I saw that he had just submitted a public notebook four times with a few changes to get that score. Many days passed and he didn't talk much with me about the competition or what he was doing. He was mostly offline. I also didn't share my strategy and models with him.
\nAfter being offline for about a week, he texted me on 25th June that he got Covid and so couldn't work. And that day he submitted the same public notebook again. So he made 5 submissions in total with 0.653 being his best score. Then he went offline again and I didn't hear from him after that day.

Today when I opened his account, it was showing a 404 (We can't find that page error). I am totally blown away. I don't know if he was banned or he deleted his account. But I am not sure what to do. I have worked a lot on this competition, so I don't want to get banned or thrown away after the comp ends. Getting banned will be very devastating for me as I haven't done anything wrong and have always tried to follow Kaggle rules myself.

If I remember correctly, I have read of a similar behavior of Kagglers in past competitions, supposedly they only want to team up to steal your code and then sell it, those Kagglers ended up being removed from the platform, right now I can't find that particular post. What's more, for this competition, I remember I was looking for information about Contrails, and a page from China appeared where if the translator translated correctly, they were selling solutions for this competition. I hope the Kaggle team takes action on the matter.
